| Fairbairn Appraisal is a solely owned and operated residential real estate appraisal company run by Stephen C. Fairbairn. Started in 1974 by Steve's father, Fairbairn Appraisal specializes in existing residential, new construction, vacant land, corporate relocation, State VA, WHEDA, and FHA appraisals. In 1991, Steve successfully completed the State Certification exam and was issued Wisconsin Certified Residential Appraiser #260. Steve presently attends 28+ hours of continuing education every two years to satisfy state certification renewal requirements.
Fairbairn Appraisal presently uses Appraisal Studio, 32 bit software, by United Systems. Fairbairn Appraisal has full EDI capability via Adobe Acrobat PDF format, secure digital signature and digital photography. Also, with the use of the online appraisal order page on this website, lenders can quickly and easily order appraisals without faxing or phoning them. Steve checks his e-mail every morning so lenders can be assured that Steve will get their order. If there are any lenders out there who are not presently aware of, or up on the EDI transmittal of appraisal files, Steve has provided some links on this website to help you understand the process and maybe answer any questions you may have. Turnaround times can be reduced dramatically with the use of this technology.
